The 16th New York Brass Conference for Scholarships – Salute to Art Farmer — Roosevelt Hotel, New York City (NYC) March 31 – April 2, 1989

The Brass Conference was an annual event formed in 1973 by Dr. Charles Colin, trumpet educator and publisher (1913 – 1999). Brass groups performed every genre of brass music during the 3 days as the schedule shown indicates. Art Farmer was the honoree at this Conference. Front and back covers of the printed program are shown as well as Art’s biography and tributes to him.
